For our Secondary School in Berlin Mitte we are seeking for a qualified and motivated

ICT Teacher for Grades 6 to 10
(part-time – 13 weekly teaching hours; starting 8th August 2022)

Your tasks & your profile

* You are a qualified secondary school teacher, who holds a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology/Computer Science (which is recognized by the state of Germany) or a Bachelor’s degree in ICT in combination with a PGCE/PGDE in ICT.
* You have already gained practical experience in teaching ICT.
* You will teach in our compulsory optional subject ‘ICT’ and in voluntary working groups with the perspective of also teaching the compulsory lessons.
* For our grades 6-10, you will be responsible for the implementation of Office 365, MS Teams, and other MS applications that the students will learn the skillful handling.
* You instruct the students in first Coding-skills, e.g. with HTML or Scratch.
* You enjoy developing and implementing new educational concepts and are willing to contribute to the constant improvement of the school.
* You are motivated to deliver a high level of performance and strive to achieve continued growth for all students.
* You are excited about the opportunity to work within an international and bilingual team.
* Ideally you have already gained teaching experience in a German secondary school setting.
* The weekly 13 teaching hours can also be spread over 3 working days, if preferred.
* No prior knowledge of German is required as the subject ‘ICT’ is being delivered in English, but you should be willing to learn German.
